I am wondering if anyone her jas put a 144 or 151 extension on a 121 skid?

I used extensions to take a 136 to 151. Worked Good.

tracks usa has 121 to 144 tipped extensions like switchbacks have!
I've done a couple 121 to 144 skids. Never had a problem.

Hartman has kits that you can go all the way to 151.

over 7000 miles on sled since the longtrack kit, about 9000 miles total... I ride in the UP around marquette, sands,skandia, 
and big bay...all backwoods, no trails. The snow up here is great and the boondockin' is the ultimate.
