the oil light went on, on my srx, but it is full of oil (to the top). It blinks, sometimes stays solid. I shook the oil tank, shook the wires and checked them for anything obvious, but no luck, I have driven like this for about 150 miles with no problems, but it is very annoying and i want it off. Anyone have a solution? thanks

check wire harness under engine
I had the same problem, at first dealer thought is was just low oil sending unit, replaced and still same thing, oil light flickered and stays on, they had to lift motor and put tubing to protect main wire harness from wear, it was apparently a recall issue but because i had bought used, i have to cover 3 out of 4hrs of labour...damn!....this might be your problem
