carbon tech reeds question

Do carbon tech reeds work well or at all? Are they worth the $150

i have had them on my 01srx 700 (carbon tech) they are the light tension ones. in my opinion save your money. they flutter (wont seal the fuel charge in) at wide open throttle causing wierd fluctuations in the power band (making it almost imposible to clutch it right). they do work great for trail cruising as far as mileage goes. it has been said that it is hard to beat the stock reeds and cages on an srx. my clutching was alot easier and the sled faster after i went back to stock reeds. best mods on an srx... dual runner skis, tempaflow and clutching no more no less. anything else and she'll go slower. ski

I used V-Force 3 reeds on my sled, made a nice crisp throttle response, I liked them over the carbon fiber ones, they even came with their own spacer.......

the baby SRX uses the same reeds that the big one does, your getting plenty of air in, look somewere else for power
