It's a 2000 SX600r. Only mods are 51/43 helix, 8ab weights and I probably will put a green secondary spring in this fall. And of course 144 studs. Should I switch to a 19 tooth top or maybe even an 18 tooth? Will I have to change the chain with the 18? Thanks, Chad.

The 19 tooth gear works well. You'll probably have to do a little adjusting to your clutches, though the green spring may be all it'll take.
