only about 30 thrilling hours. don't get to ride it as much as i want, but it is a blast everytime i do ride it. i suprise ALOT of boaters when i go sailing by them. had alot of comments about it at the boat launch. our town is right on the st. lawrence river so sometimes on a calm night i'll pin it as i go by the park and sidewalks, alot of people looked suprised of how fast i'm going. hope to get some gps runs with it this summer to see what its actual speed is. hope to ride it more this summer.

Hahahahaha, that sounds about right! I was looking at a 4 stroker 1500 STX but am still not impressed with the fuel economy. It doesn't matter how rich someone is, it's no fun lugging jugs or gassing up every couple of hours. I built a 12 foot hydro 2 years ago and it is spectacular on mileage. A 15hp Johnson moves it at 38 mph! The design calls for a 50 and to run at 85+. I go down a 15 mile river and back up on under 3 gallons of gas! I'm thinking of mass producing them now :)

when you get into the sport of pwcs you really can't put fuel consumption into a selling point of a pwc. they are ALL gas hogs. yeah mine is a gas hog and i knew it would be when i bought it, but i really don't care. gotta pay to play. usually a tank will last me a few trips out anyway. ;)!
