About a month ago I had asked Mr.Sled if he would make an Events Page.
The reason I asked him for this because its hard to keep track of up-comming Events. If your like me you always find out a day before the event happens, and it's to late to make plans. Or you find out after the fact. And all you hear is how great it was.
So thanks to Mr. Sled Here it is.

Event: 4th annual "CLASSIC CRUISE" Vintage & Antique snowmobile ride

This is our 4th annnual ride and is growing every year. Registration is at 10 AM At Quinn's Bar on Hwy. A in Neva Corners, just 5 miles North of Antigo, WI. We have 3 trail bosses that will lead riders on a scenic
journey through parts of Langlade County. We offer a 70 mile ride for the sport minded, a 40 mile ride for the touring type, and a 15 mile ride for the old iron tracks. Your $10.00 registration fee enters you in a $100.00 cash drawing, lunch after the ride, complementary lapel pin and other prizes. This is a family fun day sponsored by the DEERBROOK BRIDGE RUNNERS SNOWMOBILE CLUB.

The BoBoen Snowmobile club will be hosting their second annual Vintage Snowmobile Race with the help of the Northern Vintage Snowmobile Race Series, Inc. Our race starts at 10:00 A.M. on February 24, 2007. Food and beverages are available from the BoBoen Snowmobile Club during the race day. Registration starts at 7:00 A.M. You need to be a member of their club to race. Individual membership fee is $20.00 and you can join the day of the race. Additional family member fee is $15.00 for ages 16 and 17. Entry fee: $20.00 for your first class and $10.00 for any additional classes with the exception of junior and kids. The outlaw classes are $20.00 and are cash payout. All other classes have first, second, & third place trophies. The race track is located downtown St. Germain at the Community Park. The snowmobile trail goes right through the park so you can ride your sled to the race. Check out our Chamber website for lodging availablity. www.st-germain.com

Location: Crivitz, WI. Date: Dec 2, 2006 Time: 8 AM
Our 3rd Annual Show and Swap Meet will be held again at the Gateway Bar & Grill On Hwy 141 in down town Crivitz WI. Crivitz is located 50 miles due north of Green Bay, in northeastern part of the state. This is a one day event. Registration will begin at 8:00a.m. there is a $2 fee per sled,$10 max. for judging and trophy eligiability. Judging will commence at 11:00a.m. awards ceremony will take place in the Gateway Bar & Grill dining area at 2:30p.m. 1st and 2nd place trophies in many year classes including Race ,mini, cutter, etc. We have plenty of young muscle around to help you with unloading and loading your sled(s) if desired. This coming Fall in conjunction with the State AWSC Work Shop and Central Wisconsin Snow Show in Stevens Point, WI., we will be holding a Vintage Snowmobile Show on Saturday. The Vintage sleds will be shown and judged from 9am to 4pm.
We are looking for Sponsorship for this event. We would like to award 22 trophies, this would cover first and second in all classes. We are sending this request to the businesses that we feel could help with this event and would probably benefit from it. All sponsors will be listed on the posters and mentioned at the awards.
We are asking for each sponsor to donate $50.00. This would get your business name on the awards, as well as on the flyers being given out at other events.
All we need now is a letter or call from you saying you will sponsor this event and a company Logo so we can start to hand out the posters and flyers. No money now, just your Logo and your word that you will be a sponsor. Payment can be made anytime after March 31 and before September1. We need to get started soon so people can mark the date and we can get it in the news letter. Please respond by May 15th so we don’t miss any names on th event posters. We are putting a lot of effort into this portion of the event. Getting started early is the key. This is not the swap meet or the snow show it is a separate part of the event..
