Im looking to get more top end out of a buggy that im building. I Know that the secondary is not shifting out all the way, what can i do to get it to? I guess what i need to know is which clutch i should be concerned with? I have the Aaen clutch tuning handbook and have read it several times and have a hard time coming up with answers to these kinds of questions. :o|

I would start with the belt lenth and you can do this by removing both clutch springs.Close the priamary sheaves and inspect were the belt is sitting on the secondary. If is loose you could take up some of the slack with the moter mounts. That is of course you have a good proper lenth and width belt to begin with.
