Did you know that the FASTEST production vehicle that you could purchase today is a BUGATTI??? They spec'd it at 253MPH... It uses 175hp to get to 150mph and it needs an additional 705 HP to get the extra 103MPH to achieve 253MPH.. I thought that was QUITE interesting????

There's usually two of those cars on display at the Concours D'Elegance vintage car and boat show at Bay Harbor in Petoskey Michigan. They're quite impressive cars to look at. They get pretty much most of the attention at the show.

the real kicker is that it's an automatic, wild stuff. Apparently the engineeer working on the tranny was a former F1 engineer and said that this gearbox was 10x harder to design than an F1 gearbox, since it has to take more power and last a lot longer.

Volkswagon owns the Bugatti name. it's not quite a Volkswagon, Volkswagon also owns Bentley, but that isnt quite a "Volkswagon" either. watch for the show on Speed. They had a Saleen S7 along with the Hennessy Dodge Viper and the Bugatti. Insane. They tested them at Michigan International Speedway
