Have good shocks from a Viper and want to install them into a SX short travel suspension. Will longer limeter straps be the only change needed for the swap ?
for the rear , yes just longer straps for the rear but if you change tthe front, you will need longer radius rods, tie rods and sway bar spacer.

Thanks. I thought so but just had to ask. How bad will the long travel affect the front if just the rear shocks are replaced ? Will we need to update the front also to long travel or will it ride / track OK ?
it will ride/track good, but the sled will pitch forward more on the skis and you will have to pull the straps to a certain point to get it to handle well.
