any body know if a rear heat exchanger from a sxr will fit on a viper.
yes they work fine, if you have pipes you should use an srx for extra but the sx style is better than nothing

See if you can get one of the program $50 ones like I got. Thing keeps the viper fairly cool even on the hard packed trails.

MY dealer told me that you had to be having several overheat issues before
they would sell it to me? I never had a problem yet but want to put on pipes
and sure would like to have one on, and if I could get a new one for $50 yea

I just bought one for mine the other day, they are $51 including tax. Go to www.highlandsyamaha.com and call them, they will send one right out.

Just tell them your overheating.. I had a dealer sell me one without question.
