I'm going to try an 8bu(51/43, max perf white, grn secd) clutch setup this year. I know this is a fairly aggressive setup for mainly straightline acceleration but I was going to try it for all around use since my riding is mostly flat fields and a ditch here and there. I don't need mountain sled type backshift but I need some. Will it work okay or am I going to be dissappointed? (btw, stock 99 srx, stock track 192 picks) Dave

Don,t go into powder with this set up unless you tighten the crap out of the secondary spring.

Use the oem yamaha blue-white-blue spring instead, it have 45kg preload, 111kg total force, works great if you put the lightest steel rivet to inner hole, alu-rivet outer. stock red sec spring at 6-1(70-deg)
