How Many Miles On Your Tripple???


15000 + on my sx 700. just re ringed last winter for the first time . still goes 100....
 
7400 miles on the one...tore it down this fall...had a crack in a piston skirt...was still running awesome
 
9500 + on my 01' 700 SXr with no work needed. Still runs side by side with an 08' Nytro and does over 100 on the lake! ;)!
 
only about 12,000 km's on my SXR600,motor still runs strong,all original.Compression was still around 128 in the fall.Love the 600,it is bullet proof that triple motor.Besides all the regular maintenance,the only thing I fixed was the w-arm by re-welding and re-enforce the arm.
 
about 6100 miles on my 2001 srx 700, had 3800 on it when i bought it in jan 08. No rebuilds yet, maybe this summer for the helluvit.
 
4,606 on my 03 Viper with no rebuilds and no problems. Runs great, still whips up on my buddy's 2002 800 XCR triple consistently. I love this machine!! -Ed
 
9800 on my viper no motor work, and 6700 on my dads sxr 600 before it blew in january an he just blew it up again this weekend. one of our friends bought our 97 sx 700 and thats now got 11000 miles on it untouched
 
8000 plus miles on my sx-r and still runs great.Its been a great machine and has never let me down.I may tear it down this coming fall and check things out just for the heck of it.I'd love to have Mr. Viper port the cylinders and case when its apart, we'll see how the money holds out!
 
read in a horizon magazine about a 1999 Vmax 700 triple with 54000 (yes, fifty four thousand) kms and not ever apart, now that proves the reliability of Yamaha's (although some of my buddies are like Yamaha sucks, im like shut up dude)
