has anyone tried a cold air kit on their srx or any other sled? How good are they? are they worth the money? any noticable gains? How difficult is the installation and tuning? let me know

Put fresh air kit on my 98 MSRX 700 and when the hood filled up with snow it still wouldn't run WOT. Real bummer for MNT riding.Kit was pretty easy to install. Used hole saws and jig saw for hood mods.

Cold air kit
Have one on my 98 srx. Two ways to install with and without the air box mod. With the airbox mod you need to rejet the carbs which isn't hard so go for the total horsepower with the air box gut. If you ride the lakes and groomed trails it makes the SRX a screamer.
