Better fuel mileage

Any tips for getting better fuel mileage on a stock SX600R? I do have a tempaflow but it didn't seem to make much difference maybe because I don't ride in warm temps. I don't care if I lose acceleration or top speed because I just trail ride long distances and hate to come down for fuel. I am getting about 12 mpg now. Thanks: DT

thats not bad but do you have a clutch kit....if you can get the sled to only user 1/4 throttle on the trail your fuel economy will increase....it when you stay in the main jet all the time is when it goes down...

i am running a 02 700 verture many tweeks runs very good .getting 14 - 17 .theway its set half throttle is all you need on the trail , it just sings
