I know this doesnt affect most of you since most of you are not from PA but I am and there are alot of great snowmobilers that need your help. A bridge that spans a section of the turnpike has been closed do to it being unsafe. This was the only legal way for us to get to over half our riding areas here in Western Pa short of reloading and trailering 45 mins to an hour. I am trying to round up some more signatures and phone calls from all the great people in here and to help our beloved sport of snowmobiling. Thank for taking the time and reading my long winded speech. I copied this from our club presidents email.

I'd like to remind everyone again to sign the petition to "Save the
Bridge." There are hard copies up at the club and various local
businesses. There's also an on-line version at:

http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/savethebridge/

If you've signed the on-line version, please do not sign the hard copy and
vice versa.

Send this link to your friends, your family, neighbors, co-workers,
schoolmates, etc. We don't care who signs it, just so that they sign. I
would be happy to mail hard copies of the petition to anyone who wants
them. Please feel free to ask.

Anyone who does have full sheets of the hard copy version can bring them to
any of the 3 local club's meetings or you can mail them to me at:

Kerri Schott
427 Hill Street
Belle Vernon, PA 15012

At this time, between the hard copies and the on-line version, we have
approximately 3000 signatures, so we are making progress! We've definitely
caused a commotion, but we still have a lot to do. At this time, the
Turnpike widening project is scheduled for 2014. I don't think anyone
wants to wait until then to see a new bridge. If you've already called
Governor Rendell, Richard Kasunic, Mike Reese and Carl Walker Metzgar,
that's great! If you haven't called them, PLEASE DO SO. If you've called,
maybe write a letter now, or if you haven't heard back from your first
call/letter, then call or write again. Or call to get an update. We have
to keep pushing until we get a commitment from the DCNR on a time frame to
replace the bridge.

I'm including the list of who to contact below. Doing so will go a long
way towards helping snowmobiling continue across the turnpike.
