Apex Backfiring

My 2006 Apex Gt with 6000 miles is backfiring a lot,,every 5 minutes or so, usaully when you let off the throttle. You can see fire out of both exhaust pipes at the same time. I have had the gaskets re-done last year.
Anyone know where my problem most likely is?

probably needs gaskets again or your clamps broke/came loose....check out the 4stroke forums you are not the only one and there is a lot of info on backfiring/exhaust donuts.

just saw an apex on craigslist that backfired out the exhaust that cought the rear of the seat on fire and the guy had a hell of a time getting it out !! now its on there for sale cheap !!
