torque limiter

tried to install maximums sxr700 torque limiter on my sxr 500. ya all the proper holes are there but i have a clearance issue with rear motormount. cant get the limiter down without removing a peice so it fits in. any one have some specs to help a dude out? if not gonna have to remove carbs to get better measurements so i can grind it or take it to get milled so it fits.
