2001 Venture 600

I purchased this sled used last year. I think it still has the factory skis on it? i purchased a new set of woodys for it and they will not fit. The skis have 6 holes for studs to come through and the new carbides only have 4 studs. I should not have to drill new holes correct? How can I tell if they are the origanal skis from Yamaha? How am I going to get a new set of carbides that fit on easily?

Original skis will say "Yamaha" on the loops (handles). My orig skis from a '02 Venture have 4 holes for carbides. Notice that there's 2 holes for the ski mount, and 4 for the carbide. Look closely at them and you should have 4 for the carbide.

Thanks for your help. My carbides still will not fit. I guess they sent me the wrong ones. I will call them on Monday for the fix.
