My 79 Exciter 440 Oval Sled Build

I got this 79 Exciter 440 sled about a week ago for $175.00
I was going to start a restoration on it but desided to make a oval race sled out of it. Been asking allot of questions on different site's and finding out what I am needing to do.
This is what it looked like when i got it home.

The other day i cleaned and addjusted the carb and cleaned the tank. Added some fresh fuel and primed the cyclinders and she fired on the secound pull!! Today I put in on a diet to lighten it up some.
Took the handel bar cover off.

Took the wind sheild off and took the head light out and installed a lexan cover painted black.

Took the tool box and seat off so I can get it recovered.

Next thing i got to do Is make the bracing for the ski's and take the rear suspention out to turn the track around and grease the suspention. I am needing to get a set of slides to put on and go threw the wheel bearings.
