Bought a sled and trailer package that included a really nice 2002 viper… Triple 700 with single pipe and a Trail can.
Original owner put on the trail can and the sled has stock exhaust with it.
I bought from the second owner, who liked the sound so kept it the way it was.
I don’t have any way to contact original owner to know if any jetting was done when the Trail can was put on.
Is jetting typically done when adding a Trail can?
Would like to put the stock muffler back on and quiet this thing down a bit.
Thanks in advance!

Typically the jetting did not need to be changed when adding a trail can as they usually made less power. I would take the safe route though and check the jetting as the carbs should prob be cleaned anyway.
Usually the Vipers should have the needles raised a bit to help avoid a part throttle lean spot.
Search on the forum and there should be lots of info from the past.
