Been looking here for more on reed stopper notching, found out the stainless steel ones are better for notching. Doing a rebuild on my '01 MM700 and checked my reed stoppers, they have a 4DA imprinted on them, are they stainless steel?

DA are the old galvanized
DJ are the new stainless
There is no mistaking the two. One is dull and grayish and the other shines up like a mirror.

You can order that pn at any brand dealer(yam,pol,ac,can am,Kawasaki,Honda,Suzuki...snow boat bike)that has a PARTS UNLIMITED catalog. I've order mine at a Cat/Can-Am dealer.
