97 600 Deluxe - Coolant Flush

I'm not sure but is the 97 600 a twin or triple. If twin, then draining the system might be a bit different. This would be the procedure for any of the triples though.

Regardless it's a messy job, and if memory serves tough to collect all the drained fluid.

Easiest way is take one of the rear coolant hoses off at the cross over tube and use a shop vac to suck all the coolant out. My new preferred way, very little mess and gets it all.

I like that idea. Thanks.

I also use a tennis ball w/ a hole all the way through it. The hole should be about 1/2 the size of your rubber tipped air gun. Place tennis ball on the overflow tank and blow out through the rear hose like Super said. After it's all out of the overflow, you can move the tennis ball to the cap. You'll have to block /pinch off the overflow line to prevent air from escaping.
