Hello,,would like some input on not using the can with my SLP pipes,,, I am mostly looking for the crackling sound at idle.

What will this do to my jetting and any other problems it will create?? Not worried about being quiet!!!!

I am trying to understand why this motor doesn't sound like it is firing one cylinder at a time. I had a Artic C 600 triple that just rapped.. (at a idle,,almost like a crackleing sound)

The other sled motor used 3 stinger pipes,,Not going into a can.so my thinking is that the can just mixes all the individual cyl. sounds. I loved how that motor sounded at a idle!!!

I have read something about these 700's firing all cyl. at the same time????

Thanks to all !!!!!!

Got with SLP,,they said I can sure put stingers on each pipe,,just need to figure the correct I.D. and length to make the motor run correctly, They used to make pipes with stingers but got away from it due to noise rules.. (Rules are meant to be broken)

Any ideas of a starting point would be Great!!!!!

If anyone knows of another Brand of pipes that had stingers on them,,please let me know,,,i'll just buy them instead
