To those of you running V Force 3 reed cages,have you ever noticed a sealing issue with the factory carb boots? What I'm referring to is the way the cage mates to the boot,it seems the face of the cage isn't flat and it forces the carb boot to conform to the convex shape of the cage.It's not like the cage face is shaped like a ball with a large round portion,but there is enough of a roundness to it that it forces the bolts for the carb boot to be tightened up a bit more than should be necessary,threatening to strip the threads.

I always used some copper spray and never had a sealing problem when I ran v force reed on my piped viper!
