Trailing arm bolt removal?

should not be that hard unless its seized or slightly bent as was the case with mine. WD-40 soak over night---->heat----> cheater bar-----> impact.

I'd suggest you go borrow an impact before breaking the bolt off inside....might save a real headache!

a good socket wrench and a 3ft cheater bar over the end. I use the impact wrench for a lot of things but a stuck bolt as critical as this needs a long cheater bar and slow steady pressure and it will beak free. PB blaster soak will help also!

also; if your doing this with the sled on the ground, jam a 4x4, floor jack or axle stand under the mount so the running board doesn't flex and you can really put your weight into it.

heat it up, heat up the steel bracket that's riveted to the footwell bottom, use a good penetrating oil like kroil, heat and soak down. need to do a couple cycles to get it in the threads. then use a 1/2" impact gun with 100lbs air pressure.
