I'm looking for some help, I have a 97 sx 700 that needs a new rear skid. I'm looking at either a viper or skidoo sc4. I know the viper is a bolt in but is it a good upgrade from stock? I'm really interested in the sc4 swap but after hours of searching I can't find the mounting measurements from the drive axle and center to center. Can anyone she'd some light on this for me or if the viper skid would be good enough. Thanks.
Is the SC-III have the same measurements? I know I can find that one for you if you can verify its the same.

I believe there are two versions of the 3, one that bolts through the cross shaft and one that has tabs. I'd be happy with the sc3 dimension as they are a little bit more in my price range, the older version with the cross shaft bolt or the newer....

I have the measurements written down in my shop for the sc4. I'll post them this evening when I get home.
