phazer oil pump bleeding

Does the pump have to be bled if the lines going to each cylinder were disconnected? I just did the top end on mine and was just wondering. I do see oil at the end of each line.
 

No it does not. Only needs to be bled if the system has been run out of oil or disassembled.

Yeah...I pulled the oil pump cable and pulled the sled over a few times and saw oil coming out of the two lines. thanks
 
Just a thought and it may be an overkill but every time I do any type of top end work is done I'll drain the gas tank, premix it with 2 oz per gallon for the first tank as break in precaution.
 
I am running some premix in the tank now. Some people say not to do that because it can make it run lean but the instruction sheet that came with the piston says to do that and I've been running premix after rebuilds all of my life and never had any issues.
