Can anyone see what is happening to the bushing in my clutch?
Looks like the bushing in the outer primary is sticking out.
What would cause this and is there a way to repair it.

I my self have not seen that happen. But I took my clutch in about two weeks ago to have my bushings in my clutch replaced. I would have attempted it myself but I did not have the tools to do it. Disassembley of the clutch requires special tools. You also would need a clutch removal tool, and or use the water/grease method. I took mine in because I suspected it was hanging up a bit. And I felt it had to much play in it.

In your case , it looks like the bushing came out on its own. I would have to guess it is either from excessive wear or it is possible it had been replaced and it came free. No matter what, it needs replaced and or repaired. From what I understand you definitely do not want it blowing up while out riding.
I believe you can buy just that one side of the clutch. Others here may be more knowledgeable on this subject.
