Xtc 600

Well, pulled the rear suspension to find that it was 70% destroyed. Front bottom shock mount broke, W arm cracked, both rails bent front and rear, transfer rods both bent, ect...
(I was 22 years old when I bought this new, hence the abuse, lol)

So, luckily I am a hoarder, and have several other skids.
I found a 1999 SX 600 skid I had, in good shape.

Will be installing new Viper shocks, longer limiter straps, all new bushing kit (from shaggy), adjustable transfer rods (from shaggy)
and 8 new billet wheels and new billet rear axel.

Couple things, yes, it was all sorts of wrecked, and I had no clue, just thought shocks were wore out. Although, the factory shocks still held pressure ! go figure...

Second, is that a bearing website or soft porn ? lol....

maybe you can help me.

These new billet wheels came with new bearings, but the guy said they are for the newer Yamaha sleds, so all the smaller
idler wheels have bearings in them that are about an inch inside diameter, and they all need to be around 3/4. (Whatever metric size it is)
I have a caliper at home. I will have to measure.
Wonder if they make a bearing to fit these properly ?

Think I have it figured out with my stock 1997 parts, will post pics of my fix when I can.
Thanks !

Installed new LED bulbs in the new gauges.

I have found that design of LED to be the best light distribution for the cheapest money. Ones with a hood, dome or incapsulated in silicon. What color did you decide on seeing that you have a black hood.
I have the Ice Blue ones in my instruments. I've been trying to find to right hue of Black Light. All that I've seen are too light in the color spectrum.

Well, I got the whiter than normal light, wanted to match my EGT's, they have like 10 color options also, but I have them set on white, because its the easiest to see.
Oh, and you asked about how I was going to monitor all my Temps with only 2 gauges. Well, They now make that exact same gauge that will do 2 EGT's at once!
