Stated he had the front heat exchanger welded after a stud went through it. Now it is leaking heavily and is visibly in poor condition. Looked online for a replacement however every site I've been to shows them as discontinued. Does anyone know where I can find one that will work?

Most likely you will have to get it from a scrap chassis as it’s part of the bulk head.

When you have decided on a time to change it out, grab a few cases of your buddies favorite beverage and invite them over for happy hour. This way, there will be plenty of guys to help once the cussing starts. And mark my words ..... 4 letter words will not be in short supply.
