For those putting a wide kit in the srx

For anyone that is going to put a LONG TRAVEL/ WIDE KIT in an SRX you need to remember to modify the trailing arms to inboard the lower shock mount to restore the shock to its stock angle. Failure to do this puts the shock at more of an angle. I had a fabricator friend modify the lower mount to move the shock in about 1 1/2 inches, PERFECT
 

Sort of. The aftermarket wide kits are wider than the Viper and the long travel Ohlins are Viper style so the top mount needs to be changed as well. Just saying that moving the bottom mount in makes the shocks more effective vs. laying them down at a steeper angle.
