So the doors are the only cast part on the stove .... right?
3/8ths .... holy moly!!!! They must hold the heat long after the fire is out.

Looks like 1st generation Grandma Bear. I dont see any welds
with the brick, they hold heat even longer. the cook stoves with cast fire box parts usually throw heat for 3-4 hours after the fire has gone out. in a 1000 sq' cabin, it cooks you out quite nicely.

I just ordered 10 replacement bricks. I'll have a few on hand for later if needed.
All the fisher stove models use the same size fire brick
