Does anyone know what are the differences between the clutch weight from a 2001 sxr 700 and a 2001 Mountain Max 700? Besides just the part #

I haven't worked w/ either of them. But both profiles look the same and the weights are w/i .25 of a gram from each other.
The 8cr does slightly edge out the 8df on clamping power.

I replaced the weights on my MM years ago for Heelclickers and haven't looked back since.
The total weight is very similar. 8CR for MM and 8DF for SXR.
But, SXR uses 16mm rollers, and MM uses 14.5.
I like 8CR's for high RPM, better shift curve too IMO...
