Why does Yamaha show 2 different stators for my 01 sx700r? mine has the twin bulb. It shows 8CH-85510-02-00 or [FONT="]8DM-81410-00-00[/FONT]

With above in mind (re: 8DM-81410-00-00 is for 2 x bulb sleds), I wonder if one's broken 8CH-85510-02-00 can be replaced with 8DM-81410-00-00 and have more AMPs/Wattage output. And, this more output can create more DC power - for someone to add more Aux items (like helmet heat shields, cell phone) and upgrade their sled to a dual head light system.
Just wondering...

Don't think it's that simple. I "believe" their wiring harness and cdi box differ from the single bulb to the dual bulb sleds.
