Suspension Drop Kits

Hello all,
I keep seeing ads for drop bracket kits for the SRX on ebay. Kit is supposed to raise the tunnel about 3 inches.

Is there any benefit to installing this kit?

Are there any issues that might arise from installing the kit? (Awkward steering, darting, etc.)

I ride primarily groomed trail with occasional shallow back country.

Any suggestions would be great.
 

No benefit. You only raising it up. You are not increasing the travel or performance of the suspension. Install long travel skid from viper, sx-r or skidoo if you want more travel. If riding groomed trails I’d leave it alone.
 
The guy selling them should be punched in the nuts. He doesn't tell you the bad that goes with doing something like that.

Drop brackets are a joke! The guy selling them has a you tube video on them, I commented and explained why they were bad. He said if they are so bad then why do they sell leveling kits for trucks? LOL I'm like um.....because it's not good to have the *** end sitting way higher than the front. lol. I just can't believe how many people buy them, I mean...it's common sense, nothing is going to handle right with the *** end way up in the air.
