I am looking for some info on different shapes of Comet flyweights. I have searched the internet up and down and cant find any info on these things.

Right now my sled is revving a bit to high (7500) and need to drop it down to about 7200. The current flyweights are A-54. I have the option of picking from K-1, U-1, W, or AC. (see pic).

Does anyone have any info on the shift characteristics of the different shapes?

My general thinking it the more mass on the far end of the weight, the faster the primary shifts .... but that is just a guess.

Use only 1 flyweight curvarture/shape !
A really good all-round flyweight curvature/shape that is also easy to get is Polaris "Serie-10" flyweights.
The Polaris Serie-10 flyweights will also fit the Comet 108 EXP.
