1998 vmax 600 tps settings w/ carburetors

I have a 1998 vmax 600 xtc w/ carburetors,
Does anyone know how to set the tps sensor on the carbs.

Also this is an electric start machine, it runs without the battery...can i just tape up the wires and leave the battery out.

you need the battery as it will cause issues without it as they do not usually have the smoothing condensors needed that the sleds built without e start had.
