Struggling with Vmax. Had Carbs off twice and cleaned as per tech pages. Spotless! Cleaned airbox. New plugs and plug caps. Fresh fuel.
Fires up, runs,idles etc.
When driving, or on stand, if you run it up and let off, it bogs hard. Feathering throttle it clears quickly. It does backfire occasionally. Clutches were cleaned this year, and seem to cycle/ back shift etc properly.
Also plugs seem a little dark/wet after running .
Frustrated and looking for suggestions, before I part it out!!

I have not. I am guessing I need to do disassemble again, and I will do that.
What should I be looking for. And, are there gaskets between them and carb boots I need to take special care with ?
chipped petals/ ones that do not sit closed properly. i would stick to oe if you find any bad ones.
