    Default Built a sleigh

Hi everyone, with all the restrictions due to the coronavirus here in Manitoba Iíve had some time to build a snowmobile sleigh. Had some extra parts and came up with this.

Looks great. Let us know how it pulls and how the kids love it. And, lessons learned you would apply on your next build.

Is that a floor squeegee for the windshield? Beautiful build!

Hi , it pulls great and very easy and smooth, has ski skins on it which helps. Kids love it! I would maybe have more leg room next time but it’s for kids so it works!

Hi , the windshield is 1-1/2 inch aluminum strips on each side of the plexiglass with some weatherstripping foam at the bottom to keep the wind out . That was the hardest part of it and how to mount it.

Love the look! Kids would certainly have the fun riding in it. You got me thinking about refurbishing an old shed I have.

Hi. It was fun to build , the hood doesn’t open , that would have been a little tricky
