Are you planning to protect your under tunnel hoses? Maybe just some aluminum channel or angle stock.

I have it all figured to clear but I may protect them just from build up and trail debris.
 
Finally getting more time to drop motor in, install chain case and reverse, clutches, align motor and carbs. I also started to add the controls on the bars with the newer hook style bars.

Finally finished... drop the coolant in the sled, finished the air box, added the pipe and all the parts on the hood and the windshield, Hand-guard, wired in the new hook bars. Now she needs a good detailing and then some SNOW ;)!

Nice build Tom, looks awesome. I just picked up a 2001 SX600R for a trail sled for here at home, my RMK will be living in Twin Lakes this winter. I will ride the SX the way it is for this winter, then will tear into it next summer. :letitsnow
