Viper Reverse Kit

I have a 2006 Viper Mtn 144". I would like to put a reverse kit on it so it is more convenient for unloading, turning around, etc. Will the reverse kit from a 2002 or 2003 viper (short track) fit on a 06 viper mtn? Would I need to change the gearing in the case? Any info is appreciated. Thanks

any proaction reverse will fit any proaction sled. So yes the viper short track will fit the mtn viper no problem. The gearing is different and you are limited on the choices for the reverse gear. Reg viper will be 22/38 and mtn 21/40. The effect of the change in gearing will make a difference depending on your riding style.

Thanks for the reply. I am going to further research the gears. Plus I now need to find a different kit as the one I was looking at sold.
