1. Does YAMAHA have a locater system to track discontinued parts still in dealer inventories ?
2. I remember that I have seen a company's add that they had a lot of old discontinued Yamaha parts.
But of course I can not remember the company's name

Any dealer can check what dealers still show discontinued parts in their individual inventory. You can then call them to make sure it is on the shelf and have them ship it to you. I did this with a gear a couple years ago.
