Is there any difference between the exciter 1 and exciter 2 secondary?

Yes. All you had to do was call me. LOL. Anyway the 87-90 Exciters use YPZ clutches that use a 1-3/16" belt and the secondary is designed for the narrow belt, along with the helix. It is 10-3/8 in diameter.
The Exciter II used YXR clutches that used 1-1/4" belt and the helix's are machined deeper on the clip side to work with the wider belt. These secondarys are 11" in diameter.
The advantage of the YXR and Exciter II secondary is that with the larger diameter primary, you end up over a 1:1 (overdrive) final shift ratio and with the larger diameter secondary, you get a lower start ratio and will pull out of the hole harder.
You really cant really mix and match. Well, you can but one end or the other will suffer.

How did I guess you'd be the one replying? lol. Thanks. I was gonna ask, but along with hating my phone, I wanted to put this out there for any other people with the same question.
