Enticer340 to phazer chaincase swap?

I'M LOOKING TO INSTALL A 121 INCH TRACK ON MY ENTICER. tHE SQUARE DRIVE 2.46 PITCH TRACK DRIVERS FOR 121 TRACK ARE OBSOLETE! SO I REMEMBER AN OLD THREAD ABOUT SWAPPING OUT THE PHAZER CHAINCASE,SECONDARY,JACKSHAFT, & DRIVESHAFT AS A COMPLETE SWAP. i WANT TO DO THIS, LOOKING FOR MORE INFO? ANY MODS NEEDED? CAN I USE A PHAZER 2 FOR THIS SWAP? THAT IS THE REAR SKID I'LL BE USING.
 

I guess if you have everything to do the swap you may as well go that route. I'm not sure how to go about it though...I've never heard of 2.46 pitch, but if you have a 2.52 pitch track lyin around you can use that with 7 tooth 2.52 pitch drivers ordered from yamaha only...or find a used set from a 79 enticer. I'm pretty sure you can use that skid...not sure if it will just bolt in or if you'll have to do some minor modifications...I made extensions for $15 so I could use a 121 on my enticer, and I had to order the drivers from yamaha.
 
The swap to Phazer drive is a bolt in on an Ovation not an Enticer. Entice is a completely different setup. Major amount of custom fab work to get it done. As said 2.52 drivers for the square drive shaft can still be gotten. 1st year ET250 had them and all long track (136") ET's also had them. Getting the right drivers is the easiest.

I meant 2.52 pitch drivers! Yamaha sells them for a square shaft? the kimpex ones are no longer available. I used those on a 121 swap for my bravo. happen to know the #?
 
Yes Yamaha still sells them! They're not cheap but it is the easiest way to go. Kimpex ones were only $30 ea...they make em but only for a hex shaft. There is a 250 bravo & enticer, not sure if enticer has them but bravo does. There is another guy requesting the part number for these...I'll have a look through my receipts when I get home after work tonight.

Well, I have some bad news. Looks like they've discontinued those as well...buggers! It used to be the alternate part 8F3-47531. It's been 2 years since I built mine. That's when kimpex discontinued making theirs. Not sure what to do now...sorry bud!

You could try calling some dealers to see if they still have some Lying around as they may have JUST discontinued them. That really sucks! I thought for sure they would always offer that part!

I don't get why kimpex stopped? Does suck / I'll have to find a hex shaft that will fit an enticed/ or mod the stock shaft to hold hex drivers. Do you know what hex drivers are 2.52 pitch & hex 7 tooth?
 
I would start by calling around to see if anybody has any leftovers or knows where to get them...maybe a vintage wrecker. Check eBay too.

Kimpex still makes a 7 tooth 2.52 pitch hex driver, but unfortunately not a square driver. 04-108-50
