how do I remove my skid plate and put a different one on? thanks in advance 2003 Yamaha viper

There should be 4 bolts near the front and 2 rivets near the back.

well I went out an looked, I have 2 bolts and 5 rivets... once I take the skid plate off, and go to reattach the new one, do I rivet it back through the same holes? so they would be a blind rivet?

u can use the same holes, maybe put a washer on the back side of the rivet.

that's what I was thinking but aren't the holes pretty well under the motor? I don't really want to take the motor out if I don't have too...

rivets at the back go into aluminum. just put washers on the ones that go into plastic if their is any on the skid plate you have.

You could also use tri fold rivets
