Does anyone have any experience of pros and cons of a edge or fusion skid over the mono shock? I was planning on a mono for my newly acquired viper but wondering if the ride would be better with one of the other skids. I don't want a skidoo skid because I would never hear the end of that with the skidoo guys. This sled will be primarily drove by my wife so comfort is more important than speed. If it wouldn't be much difference comfortwise I will go mono since I already have one in my srx. Easier to keep parts on hand that works on both. Pocketbook says no to a m10 lol

never used any of those skids... but I got an AD bovin expert x skid and it really soaks up the bumps nice.
I have a m10, a mono, and an expert x. The m10 is the nicest ride, the x transfers like no other, the mono is nice all around. I'd probably pick the m10 over all others.

Thanks guys. I bought a m10. Not worried about the transfer since my wife will mostly ride this and she is not about speed at all. Can't wait to get it in there and see how it rides.
She will love it. I put my woman on the m10, and she won't ride anything else!
Did your mono start out as a 121? I've been tossing around the idea of stretching my srx, ive got a 1.5 with no studs. Was thinking 136 with a1.25 ice attack.

The mono I put on my srx was a 136 to start with. I think it was from an attack. The guy said 06 ltx but they didn't make the ltx till 08 so who knows. I like the 136. Not sure if it is the extra length or the different track but it hooks up way better now than with the 121. I had a 1 1/4" ripsaw with 144 studs and now it is a 1" hacksaw with no studs. The ice attack looks like a good track. I am hoping to put one on the viper eventually.

I am going to test out an RMK 136 ext 10, 12" travel, skid this year in one of the SXRs Going to run a 1.325 cobra track with 8 tooth drivers. Seems to be an easy install, from the looks of the skid. Very light weight skid also. I have not weighed the complete skid, but much lighter than a Pro action 136. We have a SC10 III 136 in the Viper, seems to do a good job as well.

How about weight savings? M10, mono, edge, exct? I had to remove my pipes do to where I ride and (slp) for sale by the way, and I want to remove some weight what skid is the lightest? I did find a M10. I am more into ditch banging and booddocking.
