Check w/ Jim on welding it up. Tig welding, textbook style. And w/his reinforcements obviously.

His user name is rx1jim. He had a post in the "pay it forward" section. He would tig the W and reinforce if you'll pay shipping both ways.

My original suspension for my 98 SRX had an 03 W arm in it and it seemed to work fine, I thing the factory welded the webbing on is, however, I removes that suspension and put a 01 ZL 800 skid in in because I have a bad back and just couldn't ride it like that any more. I have the old suspension yet and the pro-action manual but only covers 97/98. I never had the chance to test out the replacement suspension because the snow melted as I was drilling the last bolt hole but I think 13.5 inches of travel is better then 8. I may have lost a little top end but at least I can ride it with out having to take percocets. My non-Yamaha has the same suspension swap and it rides like a dream, that one it a 94 wildcat 700EFI. I would look through the links provided by BETHEVIPER(best looking avatar). Yours it already reinforced I think, something isn't right under there. Later......Vic
