So I picked up a set of straight bars for my 02 viper off of a firecat. The grips and heaters are already on the new bars and my question is how do I hook them up?? On the stock grips there are 2 black wires coming out of each grip with one wire bridging across to the other grip and then on the right grip the other black wire goes down to a yellow wire with a red stripe and the the other black wire on the left grip goes down to plain black wire. On the new bars there are 3 wires coming out of the grips instead of 2. One black, one green and one yellow. Anybody have any clue how I would hook up those 3 wires or is it even possible? Any advise would be much appreciated. Thanks.

If you are trying to use the hand warmers from the arctic cat then it will not work. Yamaha runs 18 volts to the grips then it gets cut in half to each grip (9 volts). To my knowledge the other manufacturers use a 12 volt system and the are wired up differently. I think that your best bet would be to put the Yamaha grips on.
