I have a 02 Viper Er. My handle bar warmers started to go on the blink last season. Working sometime and not others. I did use the advice I found on here and found that one of the grips were loose so I used the golf grip tape/glue. They work on and off, on my trip to the U.P. befroe Christmas. I just got back from another trip the the U.P. last week ( had a BLAST ) and they did not work at all. I don't know whether to go with the OEM warmers or the aftermarket warmers any suggestion ?

Try replacing the grip that was loose with an oem grip. Check this thread out: http://www.totallyamaha.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8045 OEM grips get plenty hot for me....
