1999 srx 700 crankshaft

Had noticed water in number 1 cylinder this summer, went to do normall fall cleaning to get ready for winter ride, noticed crank seal was leaking on clutch side, took bottom case off to change out crank seals and had more water then what was expected, have rusty bearing on clutch side and needle bearing on number 1 cylinder, what are people doing to replace or rebuild the crank shaft with new bearings, replace all bearings or ones that are needed? who where and how much can a guy take a crank to and get everything fixed up ready to go. any info is appreciated, located in the fargo nd area, would like local shops but willing to ship to someone with experiance.
 
Also SXR1000 on here does crank work, but he had an accident recently and was unable to do crank work. He might be back in action soon, worth a try.
 
or just buy a good used one, sometimes you can get a good deal on a good used and its cheaper then having the crank repaired. some of the parts on the cranks are discontinued so good used parts/cranks might be the one only choice depending on what all needs replaced.
 
Can anyone quote me a price to fix my crank, thinking just need to change mag and clutch side bearings and needle bearing on first connecting rod on clutch side, crank has never been welded so would like welded and trued, think center bearings are fine along with other 2 connecting rod bearings, I know yamaha prices for bearings are rediculus so would like the best bang for my buck, won't be able to afford any work till mid November
 
I was quoted $100 to check and weld. you can look the bearings up online.
 
if that rod bearing is rusted that bad it most likely ruined the pto end also, the pin and end are one piece.
 
I think I have a good used crank for a 98-99 srx. One thing on the 98-99 cranks,those cranks do not have welded pins on them so I would suggest to check the trueness of it and then weld the pins so it doesnt move.yamaha welded the rod pins on the 2000-02 cranks because of some prior problems with early ones moving, some moved others didnt but they just welded all of them after 2000.

I will look to see what I have. Will be gone all this weekend so wont post back till begin of next week.
